Last week I was the victim of a targeted and well planned hacking attack on my server. They used a pretty good attack method I must say. This hacker was able to cause some initial damage to my site and put up some pages that called me out by name and told me to stop making comments about what I felt  about some very suspect products.

They then proceeded to delete ALL the content on my domains. Every last drop. However, they must think I would be stupid if I did not have backups ! Sure it was a pain in the ass to be inconvenienced for 12 hours while I restored my site, BUT they are now part of a FBI forensic cyber-crime investigation.

I have 184 domains on my server .. BUT the ones they attacked were

http://www.duncanwierman.com  – my course

http://www.duncanwierman.com/blog   – this blog

http://www.InternetMarketingConsultingGroup.com – my SEO consulting site

and a few others blogs that deal with marketing and  technology.

I find it ODD that only the websites attacked had a  “themed”  relevance that posed a threat to a few of my competitors where taken out..

Who do you think it could be??  See how low my competitors will go to continue to market their hype and trash!

Today I shared  a publication written by Vena Jones Cox -  RE GURU Manifieto Exposed.  It talks about the fraud, the  hypocrisy, the hype being used by many real estate guru’s/information promoters who are stooping to new levels to get you to part with your hard earned cash. They take advantage by using hype appealing to EASY FAST MONEY and they get away with it because so many people are new real estate investors and don’t know better.

On another note, on a product I have decided not to promote or endorse, ( I am being SPAMMED to death about it ) the “group ” that the gurus who have chosen to promote the product hang out in… are saying how bad I am . They have taken to “name calling” because I emailed one of their members who plastered my facebook account several times with promotional emails, and post after asking him to stop..

Name calling ??.. gees .. I never have resulting to calling these guys names in public ( to their faces maybe) but its a bit childish to do this in a forum. Shame on you Colin and Brian ! Maybe Preston should monitor his group better and take that high Christian road that he promotes on his blog??
