Very True. Pages are fairly new, so the early implementers of marketing on facebook ( like myself ) had our marketing efforts pointing to our personal wall. I guess that's why I have 3 different accounts. I am now putting my efforts into pages as it is the best way to go.
You can check out my page as an example http://www.faceboook.com/marketingonline

I am also releasing a script shortly http://www.ViralFacePageCreator.com to help people get their pages to go viral. Watch this space!

 var name_fld = document.getElementById('sbmgOptinValidateForm210' + '_' + name);
 var email_fld = document.getElementById('sbmgOptinValidateForm210' + '_' + email);
 var reg = /^([A-Za-z0-9_\-\.])+\@([A-Za-z0-9_\-\.])+\.([A-Za-z]{2,4})$/;
 var msg = '';
 if ( name_fld.value == '' ) msg = '- Name Required\n';
 if ( reg.test(email_fld.value) == false ) msg += '- Valid Email Required';
 if ( msg == '' ) return true;
 else alert(msg);
 return false;
 }

Some good ideas here. But I have also noticed that many people make a bad mistake - they use their personal facebook profiles for promoting their business - and that's really not the best strategy, your personal profile is supposed to be... well, personal. It's always better to create your own page dedicated to your business. I think there still has to be a line between friendly and professional. What would you say?
