What You Need To Know About SEO for Real Estate Investing Lead Generation

You must first understand that the search engine are looking for the most relevant content to supply to their users. They also want to provide a good user experience to have them come back over and over again.
When you start putting up websites of any sort, you are claiming a slice of the internet. The theory goes that the larger your percentage, the more traffic you’ll get. So, this is why you want to propagate content across the web. Its important to know that your content must include keywords, related words, and links.
Start with using keyword rich URLs. (web page addresses) If you’re trying to rank for “Atlanta rehab deals,” you should be using a URL with those keywords, like www.AtlantaGARehabDeals.com
Once you start getting your URL out there, start watching your referral statistics. Where are your visitors coming from? That eBay ad, that Squidoo lens, your comments on a real estate forum. Do more of what’s driving your referrals.
Whatever you do, make sure your “on-site” structural SEO elements are in order. Your site is “spidered” (read) by the search engines. They are reading for content relevant to your targeted keywords. Make their job easy, and put your keywords in the right spots, and they will reward you.
Here’s the elements to focus on:
1. Title (this is BIG) – make sure your keywords are first 2-3 words
2. H1, H2, and H3 tags – use 1 H1, 1 H2, and multiple H3s (engines love – shows page structure)
3. Links – make sure you have no dead links and the link names are all relevant
4. Image names – use relevant names for images ONLY IF THEY ARE RELEVANT (i.e. atlanta-rehab.jpg)
