What’s Next in Real Estate Marketing?

  • Sharebar

As a marketer, you want to know what’s next in marketing. What else can you do to help your business grow? Which strategies offer a strong return on investment and can help you establish yourself in the marketplace? It’s getting more difficult using mediums such as search engine optimization and pay per click advertising because there is a ton of competition and it seems like you need deep pockets to compete.

Just like how banner advertising grew in the early days of the Internet and how search engine marketing exploded starting in 2000, inbound marketing is making great leaps and bounds. More businesses are focusing on inbound marketing because it is creating great results for them and also because it is much more affordable compared to mediums such as pay per click advertising and direct marketing.

Traditional outbound marketing is about pushing your message out to potential customers. This is done through print advertising, TV, radio, direct mail, buying email lists, cold calling, and more. The problem with these marketing strategies is that it’s getting harder every day to make them work because people are starting ignore ads on TV/radio, throw out their junk mail, filter out promotional email, and block cold calls.

This is the reason why inbound marketing has been getting so much attention. The whole focus of inbound marketing is to present something of value to prospects and customers. This can be valuable content in the form of blog posts, audios, videos, articles, special reports, and more. The goal is to attract targeted prospects and have them subscribe to their blog, email, Facebook, and Twitter accounts.

Aside from focusing on presenting value to prospects and customers, inbound marketing is effective because of the fact that it relies on social media and has many search engine benefits. Through proper optimization and from incoming links from the community, you will start to get traffic from the search engines. If you use Facebook and Twitter, you will get more traffic as a result because those social networking sites are naturally viral and people will start to talk about your site if you provide unique content.

Your hub site can also be used to collecting email subscribers in addition to blog subscribers. You can use email as another way to keep in touch with prospects and customers. When you are ready to launch a product or service, email can be very effective in generating sales and profits for your campaign.

Inbound marketing makes sense for many business owners today because of its affordability. If you are willing to take the time to learn how to use social networking sites, make the most out of your blog, and learn how to optimize your site properly, you don’t have to spend a single penny on marketing.

You can decide to hire an expert but it will be very cost effective since you are not hiring an expert in addition to using paid marketing strategies. For many businesses, the cost of hiring an expert as well as using a strategy such as pay per click is simply too much. PPC advertising costs have gone up and it’s hard to make a profit with all the high profits and competitors.

Inbound marketing is a great strategy to base your business around because it also focuses on creating a relationship with prospects and customers. You are in constant contact with your readers, followers, and you’re also reaching out to the market. It is not only for marketing purposes as it helps you create relationships with other businesses, paving the way for lucrative business deals.

There are many case studies that show what’s possible with inbound marketing. It’s important that you educate yourself on how to use inbound marketing effectively if you want to use it properly. There are rules to follow when using certain networks as well as tactics that can make your marketing campaigns work better.

There are also many tools that you can use from plugins that help you manage your blog, optimize your site for the search engines, make your content more viral, and more. With a strong community behind inbound marketing, it will be easy to find what you need to make everything more efficient. There are many possibilities with inbound marketing and it’s important that business owners start to explore what it can do for them.

Could you possibly post links for some of the case studies you have mentioned? I’d be interested in reading them, thanks. And thanks for the article as well. I’m trying to learn as much as I can about the new trends in online marketing, but it takes me too much time unfortunately…

Hi Julie, Thanks for the comment. I have done quite a few case studies on blogging. http://www.duncanwierman.com/content/category/lead-generation/blogging/
However to see them in their entirety they are for my Platinum students only. I did these case studies over a 6 month period documenting testing results and my exact actions so anyone can get the same results. I can also recommend http://www.Hubspt.com for some fantastic graphs that back up my results also.
